The amount of digital imagery has grown exponentially over the past few years and with the introduction of affordable digital video and photo cameras, this growth is not expected to slacken. The key problem when dealing with large amounts of digital material is managing it cost efficiently. Images, unlike text, are difficult to classify and investigate and both the business and consumer market demand robust techniques for managing digital imagery. These techniques include making automatic summaries, analyses or improvements on images.
ZiuZ specialises in content based video techniques and has the in-house knowledge to analyse images on the basis of content, automatically locating, identifying (or recognising) and replacing objects.
