ZiuZ reseller's meeting 2011
published 17 October 2011
On 13 & 14 October, ZiuZ organised its annual reseller's meeting in Gorredijk, the Netherlands. Present were Wolfram Klos (Responsible for sales in Germany), Martin Bernoulli (Eurebis, Switserland), Peter Swedberg (Zetstor, Sweden) & Chrisitan Almstedt (Optical Storage, Sweden) and of course ZiuZ.
The upcoming release of VizX2 was the main subject during the first day. VizX2 fits with demands from abroad: a comprehensive solution for both technical operations and tactical detective's work, joint in one product. What's more, VizX2 is equipped with a built-in matching database which is suitable for long-term archiving of images and videos that are worthwile to keep for further investigations. The open structure of VizX2 enables it to integrate with other systems such as INTERPOL databases or the import of NCMEC formats. The fast analysis, combined with tactical research and sharing of intelligence is appealing to many customers in the field.
Day two was covered by the use of ZiuZ for the analysis of observation videos. Recently, ZiuZ aquired the TNO product AVACS and the roadmap for this solution is interesting to our resellers. The business case remains the same: why spend so much time and personal for the analysis of video footage if the same work could be done by one person using ZiuZ solutions?
We feel very comfortable with this international team and trust that we are doing the right things with the right people. ZiuZ itself will keep its focus on the Dutch police and the projects we are carrying out with them in the Netherlands. Apart from our own country, we are covering Belgium, Luxemburg and the UK. James Krainock is our representative in the US. ZiuZ opened its office in New York in summer 2011.
The resellers will service our international customers and are extending the community of ZiuZ users in their countries.
