Especially for the larger production locations, ZiuZ has developed Photon in collaboration with SPITS Oosterwolde. SPITS (Service Provider Integrated Therapeutical Systems) BV is a central distributor of prepackaged medicine bags and uses 6 Photon XT combinations to safeguard their daily production of medicine pouches.

Apotheek Voorzorg
Apotheek Voorzorg is specialized in developing custom packaging of medicines for patients (medication rolls). At Apotheek Voorzorg, over 2 million pills and capsules are processed into individual medication rolls. After the production of the medication roll, ZiuZ Photon XT checks the content of every pouch. The inspection machine takes an RGB photo and an infrared photo of each pouch. Based on mathematical algorithms, the software checks to ensure it is the right pill.
