ZiuZ ApolloZ has been awarded a G100 award! An award only given to the top 100 Dutch Best Designed Products, which are well-designed, innovative, and provide solutions to real problems. ZiuZ is thankful, together with her design partner Spark, for receiving this token of appreciation for putting patient safety first in combination with implementing innovative solutions, high productivity, and exceptional design.
ApolloZ is a medication dispensing checking device. The optimized productivity, improved patient safety, and next-level production speed enable pharmacists to do more in less time while reducing costs. With ApolloZ, every pharmacy is ready for the future.
Since the Inspector and Photon launch, ZiuZ has been the market leader in pouch checking and documentation devices. ZiuZ’ solutions analyze the content of automatically-dispensed medication pouches based on 13 parameters such as shape, color, and size. With Spark design & innovation, ZiuZ received multiple design awards in the past years. ZiuZ ApolloZ has also been rewarded with an IF Award in 2022 and is designed for handling the production of mid-to-high volume blister centers and larger hospital pharmacies. ZiuZ IRIS has been specially developed for smaller hospital pharmacies and won an iF Gold Award in 2017. And the ZiuZ Corrector, a small documentation device for corrected pouches won a GIO Award in 2019.

Through an annual overview of the 100 best-designed products, the independent Designlink Foundation wants to show how the product design discipline (industrial design) contributes to tackling small and more significant social challenges. With more than 35 years of experience in awarding the ‘Good Industrial Design Recognition’ (GIO), Designlink has the authority and reputation to do so credibly and convincingly.
The list consists of products that are not only well-designed and innovative but also provide a solution to a real problem. One hundred Dutch best-designed products that are not only relevant but also innovative and/or original are particularly well designed and designed in the Netherlands by a Dutch designer or a Dutch company (G100, 2022).
